Suspicious fire involving Hackensack police cars

HACKENSACK, New Jersey (WABC) -- Officials are investigating a suspicious fire involving parked police cars in Hackensack, New Jersey.

It appears several of the vehicles were torched around 8 p.m. Saturday at an unattended lot on Trinity Place.

The lot is used by the police department as an overflow parking area.

There were no injuries.

Police and the fire department's arson squad are investigating, along with the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
