Embassy Diner helped feed frontline workers during last week's blizzard

BETHPAGE (WABC) -- Nassau County officials are returning the favor after a diner helped feed 80 frontline workers during the height of last week's blizzard.

Embassy Diner owner Gus Tsiorvas generously donated breakfast for 80 workers at St. Joseph Hospital during the height of last week's historic snowstorm.

The President of St. Joseph Hospital, Joseph Manopella, ordered food for his employees working during the blizzard from the diner across the street.

Tsiorvas sent over the food, but didn't charge the hospital.

On Tuesday, Supervisor Joseph Saladino, along with Manopella, honored Tsiorvas for his generous donation.
