PATERSON, New Jersey (WABC) -- Crews are working to repair another water main break in Paterson, New Jersey Wednesday night, the third in a matter of weeks.
The Passaic Valley Water Commission says the latest is a six-inch water main break near Genessee and West Railway avenues.
They say customers nearby may experience lower pressure, discolored water and temporary service interruptions during repairs.
It comes as crews continue to flush the water system after two other water main breaks in Paterson that have impacted thousands of people.
The second one, which happened Saturday at North First and Arch streets, is still impacting some residents.
Water has been restored in the Riverside section of Paterson, and in Fair Lawn, but boil water advisories remain in effect.
Meanwhile, the PVWC says it could take a week for workers to replace at least 50 feet of damaged pipe.
