Subway service disrupted on many lines due to various issues during evening rush

Multiple subway lines facing service disruptions

NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- Multiple subway lines experienced delays during the Thursday evening rush due to various issues.

The subway lines that were impacted included the A, B, D, E, F, M, Q, R, W, 2 and 3.

Uptown No. 2 and No. 3 trains were running with delays after crews addressed a signal problem near 72nd Street.

B/D/N/Q service was disrupted between Manhattan and Brooklyn as the FDNY responded to a track fire at DeKalb Avenue.

F and M trains were running with delays in both directions, severely downtown, after crews moved a train that had its brakes activated near Jay St-MetroTech.

N and W trains were running with severe delays in both directions after we moved a train that had its brakes activated near Queensboro Plaza.

A and the Rockaway shuttle trains were running with delays in both directions after the South Channel Bridge opened for marine traffic to pass.
