Tiempo: Newark schools and Dominican pride

NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- This week on Tiempo, we introduce you to the leader of the New York City's Women Chamber of Commerce.

She's a Dominicana. We'll talk to her about the work the commerce does to help women of color.

Plus, return visit here on Tiempo for the Newark Schools Superintendent Roger Leon - the first Latino to lead the district in New Jersey's largest city.

He's back to enlighten us on the efforts, programs and directives he launched to improve a school district with an ever-growing Latino population. More than 37% of people in Newark are Latinos.
