MELBOURNE, Fla. -- We now know which lucky person in Florida won a giant piece of last month's historic $1.5 billion Powerball jackpot.

Melbourne residents David Kaltschmidt and Maureen Smith bought their winning ticket last month at a Publix supermarket in their hometown.

The couple stepped forward Wednesday to claim their lump sum share of the prize, worth $327 million before taxes.

The couple still can't believe they won.

"We didn't believe it," Smith said. " We just kept watching TV and going online and rechecking and rechecking."

Then they announced the Publix, Melbourne Beach. We said uh oh, this is the real deal," Kaltschmidt added.

Three tickets matched all six winning numbers that were drawn January 13.

The first winning ticket was claimed in Munford, Tennesseem and the other was sold at a 7-Eleven in Chino Hills in Southern California.

The Chino Hills winner has not yet come forward.
