FBI releases video in Queens armored car heist
Authorities are searching for the men on this video, who robbed an armored car in June

ELMHURST (WABC) -- The FBI has released video showing the violent armed robbery of an armored truck driver in Queens.

The incident happened back on January 31 and remains unsovled.

A GardaWorld guard was carrying a bag of deposits when he was attacked while leaving an HSBC Bank in Elmhurst.

Two men shoved a gun in the guard's face while a third grabbed the money.

The suspects then sprayed the guard with mace before fleeing the scene.

The getaway vehicle is believed to be a green Ford Explorer XLT, possibly from 2002 or 2003, with a dealer or out-of-state rear license plate. The FBI now also believes the same group could be responsible for another heist at a PLS Check Cashing location at 105-22 Northern Boulevard in Queens on January 25, 2013.

The FBI, working closely with the NYPD, is asking for the public's help in identifying and locating the three armed men involved in these brazen robberies.

GardaWorld is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible, as well as the recovery of the stolen funds.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at (212) 384-1000.
