Photos: Beautiful rainbow appears above Central Park on Christmas Eve morning

CENTRAL PARK, Manhattan (WABC) -- A gorgeous rainbow above Central Park appeared to the delight of many New Yorkers on Christmas Eve morning.

The rainbow was spotted by NYPD's Central Park unit:

It's not quite the stunning rainbow that appeared above the World Trade Center the day before 9/11 earlier this year, but we'll take it.
