Girl to Pope Francis: 'You have to double click it!'

EAST HARLEM (WABC) -- Pope Francis got to try his hand at a touch screen lesson with some children at a Catholic school in East Harlem.

The pope was visiting with third and fourth grade students from four different New York City Catholic schools at Our Lady Queen of Angels School.

The two students showed him a touch screen television which read, "Thanking God for the Gifts of the Earth".

The object of the lesson is to select items on the screen that you are thankful for and the place them in column on the left for where you would find those items; in the air, on the land or in the water.

After a boy demonstrated how it worked briefly, Pope Francis touched the screen but had a little trouble with it at first.

The pope made three unsuccessful tries to move an object, and then a little girl, Kayla Osborne, told the pope, "You have to double click it."

She tapped it twice and the pope held her hand with his and moved the object as everyone in the room applauded.

Once the lesson was done, a screen came up that read, "We also thank God for the gift of having you as our Pope!" in both English and Spanish.

Pope Francis smiled and gave both students a blessing and a hug.
