How did this couch end up in the middle of a tree on the Upper West Side?

UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan (WABC) -- A couch somehow ended up 20-25 feet in the air - right in the middle of a tree in Manhattan.
It happened on West 95th Street near Amsterdam Avenue on the Upper West Side.
Ed Park tells the West Side Rag that the furniture has been up there for three days, with no obvious explanation.
