Driver in South Plainfield loses control of car, crashes into telephone pole

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, N.J. (WABC) -- A single car crash in New Jersey resulted in a fatality Monday morning.



At approximately 8:50 a.m., a driver lost control in the 1300 block of Plainfield Avenue, and the vehicle struck a telephone pole. The cause of the crash is unclear, according to Public Safety Director Carl Riley, Plainfield Police Department.



The incident started in South Plainfield and the car came to a stop in Plainfield.
