NFL Week 1 uniforms: Giants, Seahawks throwbacks lead the way

The NFL season has finally arrived, bringing the return of marquee matchups and -- most importantly -- uniform heat.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens kicked off the year with a Thursday night matchup. The Chiefs kept it simple with their red look, while the Ravens wore all white. On Friday night, the NFL's first game in Brazil also included a first for the Philadelphia Eagles, who debuted a unique combination. The Green Bay Packers wore their traditional green and yellow threads for the matchup.

However, it's throwback galore on Sunday.

The New York Giants will wear their special "Century Red"uniforms to commemorate the franchise's 100th season. The Seattle Seahawks are bringing back their iconic royal blue and silver look from the 1990s. The Cincinnati Bengals will make uniform noise too -- they will wear an all-orange combination for the first time ever.
