Car crashes into scaffolding on Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (WABC) -- A car jumped the curb and crashed into scaffolding in the St. George section of Staten Island

The driver lost control on Richmond Terrace at Jersey Street, just before 7 a.m., hitting the scaffolding.

The driver was being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The scaffolding was not in immediate danger of collapse.
