NEW BRUNSWICK (WABC) -- A Suburban Transit bus driver is hanging up his gloves after more than four decades on the job.
Steve Majofsky has been shuttling passengers between New Jersey and New York City for 43 years.
Family, friends and co-workers gathered at Suburban Transit headquarters in New Brunswick Thursday to honor Majofsky.
He has traveled through the Lincoln Tunnel more than 50,000 times, driven more than 2.5 million miles and transported more than 1.7 million passengers without during his career.
And he's done it all without a single accident.
Suburban Transit general manager Scott Sprengel says the Trenton resident is a role model for all of the company's drivers.
