A McDonald's restaurant in Venezuela has become a makeshift hospital and center for finding missing pets after two powerful earthquakes.
An Army veteran and dog lover has now donated a total of $150,000 to the New York animal shelter where he adopted his dog.
"I knew she wasn't going to come back at that point, I just knew it," said the cat's owner. "She pretty much was dying in my arms."
The puppies were just 3-days old and left tied up in a plastic bag in 90+ degree weather.
The dog, named Douglas by animal hospital staff, was in such bad condition that he was believed to have been hit by a car.
