The national chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi announced on Friday, that they have closed the fraternity's chapter at Rutgers following their own investigation.
The investigation revealed that "the hazing included forced participation, nudity and sexualized acts of a degrading nature."
The lawsuit alleges that a fraternity member drove Ben to a nearby hospital and dumped his lifeless body while attempting to avoid responsibility.
The settlement stems from a lawsuit the Foltzes brought against the university last year, alleging their 20-year-old son was subjected to heinous acts of hazing by the Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity.
