President Obama attends fundraiser for Democrats on the Upper East Side

UPPER EAST SIDE, Manhattan (WABC) -- The one national politician with a 60% approval rating was in New York City Tuesday night.

President Barack Obama was in town raising money for the Democratic Party.

A private fundraiser was held at a home on the Upper East Side, with ticket prices starting at nearly $17,000.

Earlier, the president was campaigning for Secretary Clinton in Philadelphia by himself for the first time.
