Police searching for Upper West Side armed robbery suspect

UPPER WEST SIDE -- Police are searching for an armed robbery suspect in Manhattan. They say the man held up two places on the Upper West Side this past week.

Investigators say the man was seen threatening a clerk and taking cash from a stationary store on Sunday, and also robbed a Europan restaurant on 2197 Broadway on Monday. In the latter case, police say the man threatened a worker with a gun after the employee followed him out of the building.

The suspect is described as a 20-25 year-old Hispanic male, 5'7"-5'8" and 140-170 lbs..
