The arrests are part of 'Operation Spruce Up' - a joint task force that Loriquet says has arrested 35 gang-related fugitives within the last two weeks. He says most of suspects had posted bail for other crimes and never returned - resulting in fugitive warrants.

Newark, Irvington, Orange and East Orange resulted in the arrests
of 20 suspected members and associates of gangs - mostly The Bloods
and The Crips.
