MK Gas on Route 22
June 17, 2008 4:57:40 PM PDT
Officials have ordered a gas station in North Plainfield to close for 20 days for changing prices more than once in a 24-hour period. This happened after an official with Somerset County's Weights and Measures Office noticed the Gulf station on Route 22 raised the price for super octane gas twice, violating New Jersey's state law.l

In addition the owner of MK Gas has to pay $800 in fines plus court costs.

The station is due to reopen July 3.
