Bouncer stabbed outside Chelsea club

CHELSEA Eyewitness News is told the bouncer got into a dispute with a group of people outside Club Home on West 27th Street just before 4 a.m. One of the group pulled a knife from his shoe and stabbed the bouncer.

The suspect then reportedly ran into the club, where he was taken into custody. He and two others were placed under arrest.

The bouncer was rushed to St. Vincent's Hospital with a non-life threatening injury.

Police say another employee was either stabbed or slashed in the melee. He was also not seriously hurt.

It was not immediately known what sparked the dispute.
