5 special ed kids hurt in bus crash

A school bus was rear-ended in the St. Albans section of Queens Monday morning, injuring five special education students.Police say a car collided into the rear of the bus at the intersection of 116th Avenue and Francis Lewis Boulevard at around 8:30 a.m.

Five special education students were on board and were taken to Long Island Jewish Hospital with minor injuries, according to officials.

The injured students reportedly attend P233Q at P827Q.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
