Student from LI murdered upstate

ALBANY Albany Police Chief James Tuffey says the man was walking alone on an off-campus street when he was shot in the head around 11:20 p.m. Monday.

The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Richard Bailey, of Wantagh in Nassau County. He was taken off life support Tuesday afternoon.

Police blocked off a section of the street early Tuesday morning as they investigate the shooting.

Investigators say they're still looking for a motive and no arrests have been made.
