Tow-truck workers arrested in alleged theft ring

NORTH BERGEN, N.J. North Bergen police say an owner of High Point Towing, which operates in Union City and North Bergen, is charged along with four workers.

Police say the suspects were paid to steal large vehicles and trucks, and report them stolen.

The arrests cap a two-month investigation by numerous law enforcement agencies.

Charges include theft, conspiracy, arson-for-hire, and aggravated assault.
