CT kids found, reunited with their mom

HARTFORD, Conn. An anonymous person dropped the children off at the Bridgeport police department early Friday morning.

State troopers and police in several Connecticut cities are looking for a man who allegedly kidnapped his ex-girlfriend and their two young children in Hartford.

Police say 30-year-old Vinroy Hines may be armed, and that he told his ex-girlfriend before she escaped that he planned to commit a murder-suicide.

Officers searched late Thursday and early Friday for Hines, finding the children early Friday in Bridgeport.

The children, a 20-month-old boy and 4-month-old girl, were being evaluated and reunited with their mother Friday. She escaped by jumping from Hines' moving car late Thursday.

Police say he will be charged with kidnapping and other offenses when he is located.
