Delays on some NY Metro-North trains

February 20, 2009 6:00:21 AM PST
Thousands of commuters are experiencing rush-hour delays on New York's Metro-North railroad. The delays, ranging around 15 to 20 minutes, were affecting the Harlem line, which serves nearly 30,000 riders.

Delays continued in both directions after a rail cracked at 7:30 a.m. Friday, south of the Scarsdale station in Westchester County.

It was unclear how long the repairs would take.
