Man hospitalized after Upper West Side fire

UPPER WEST SIDE Eyewitness News is told the 30-year-old victim had no vital signs when he was removed from 49 West 69th Street just after 5 a.m.

He was rushed to Roosevelt Hospital in unknown condition.

Officials other residents were being treated, but none of their injuries appeared life-threatening.

The fire reportedly broke out in a first floor apartment of the building.

Columbus Avenue and West 69th Street were closed for the investigation. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
