Nassau County police say a woman was arrested over the weekend after a 14-year-old boy was found intoxicated and unconcious in a driveway in Roslyn Heights.Officers responded to the home just before 11 p.m. Saturday.

The teen was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Further investigation at the scene found that the babysitter, identified as 30-year-old Andrean Newland, who lives at the same address, was present at the residence while 15 to 25 juveniles drank alcohol in the backyard.

Newland was charged with violating the Nassau County Social Host Law and was released on an appearance ticket.

Police say they also found several cases of beer on the side of the house, plus empty containers in the backyard.
