Sanitation worker Anthony Pollard was shot in the stomach. He was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he was stable following surgery.
The 30-year-old Pollard, who may have been a victim of crossfire, had reportedly parked his street sweeper outside the bodega while on his break.
Two others were also hit by the gunfire, shot out of a silver-colored vehicle that fled the scene.
Eyewitness News is told the other victims were a 23-year-old man shot in his right leg and a 32-year-old man shot in the left shoulder. They were also in stable condition at Kings County Hospital.
The vehicle was believed to have been found abandoned at Winthrop Street and East 97th Street.
