Labor trouble at two NJ hospitals

BAYONNE, N.J. On Tuesday, more than 800 workers will be locked out of their jobs at the Bayonne Medical Center.

Temporary workers will be brought in after the union refused to withdraw a strike notice for Tuesday.

Meanwhile, workers are picketing Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.

Talks broke down last week and temp replacement nurses have been filling in.

The union, representing nearly 700 nurses and other health care workers, says salary and staffing issues are the major sticking points in the talks.
