Chickens takeover parking lot in the Bronx

Bronx, NY Ramon Lopez says as far back as 23-years ago, he remembers there has always been chickens.

No one knows where they came from, but the parkers don't seem to mind.

People say that the chickens are actually well behaved and don't bother many people.

Through the years, other people have even dropped chickens off at the lot for Ramon to take care of.

But that's becoming a problem because they don't drop off any money or food to help care for the abandoned chickens.

Ramon says he spends $180 a month caring for the chickens.

Some chickens stick around and eat the feed for the better part of the day, while many others just wander off up Cromwell Avenue and other streets.

As the lot manager, Ramon says he would love to see the chickens find a home out from under the trailers and parked cars at the lot.

Ramon admits, he loves the animals.
