Arrest made in 2 Dress Barn robberies

Police in Stamford, Connecticut arrested a man for allegedly robbing two Dress Barn stores at gunpoint. The first happened on February 26th at around 6pm at a store on Summer Street.

Police arrested 57-year-old Billy Conley after he allegedly robbed another Dress Barn in Orange on April 28th.

One of the victim's of the first robbery positively identified Conley in a police lineup.

He was charged with first degree robbery and is being held on $150,000 bond.

Police describe Conley as a career criminal with at least 26 prior arrests for crimes including several robberies, burglary, resisting arrest, larceny and narcotics charges.
