Ernest Hamrick is scheduled to appear in Hartford Superior Court on Thursday to face child pornography and morals charges.
The Connecticut Post reports that Hamrick was arrested last week after an investigation by West Hartford and New York state police, who were contacted by the victim's mother.
Police said Hamrick told the girl he wore No. 25 and then No. 3 for the Huskies. They say he and the girl exchanged over 2,400 calls and text messages and that she sent him 41 photos, several of them nude.
Attempts to reach Hamrick Monday were not successful. There was no listing for him in West Hartford.
