A man drowned after falling out of a canoe and into a small pond.
The incident happened off Greenwich Road in Bedford.
Three brothers fell into the water when their canoe capsized about 12 feet from shore. Two brothers made it ashore, but 28-year-old Biron Perez, of Mount Kisco, did not.
He died shortly after being rushed to the hospital.
None of the men were wearing life vests.
