Teen cyclist critical after being struck by car

A teenage bicyclist was struck and critically injured by an unlicensed driver in the Fordham section of the Bronx.

The 16-year-old bicyclist was struck at the intersection of Webster Avenue and East 188th Street just after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the car that hit him, a 23-year-old woman, was hospitalized for a non-life threatening injury.

She was issued a summons for driving without a license.
