Conn. residents remember Sept. 11 victims

NORWALK, Conn.

During ceremonies at the Norwalk Concert Hall on Friday, attendees remembered the nearly 3,000 who died, including 15 Norwalk residents. Halfway through the ceremonies, Fire Marshal Glenn Iannaccone rang a fire department bell once for each Norwalk resident killed in the attack. A speaker also thanked the police and firefighters in attendance.

In Milford, more than 100 people attended the annual "Milford Remembers" ceremony Friday. And at Emmett O'Brien Technical High School in Ansonia, students and staff gathered Friday in a memorial garden in front of the school to honor those killed.
