Several residents were rescued from a third-alarm fire that tore through a Yonkers home early Tuesday.

The fire broke out inside 10 Highland Avenue just after midnight.

One elderly woman was pulled out the window of the blazing house by Good Samaritans. Another man was also rescued from the flames.

Flames spread to a neighboring house before being put out by firefighters.

Fifteen firefighters sustained minor injuries while battling the blaze, mostly for smoke inhalation.

Thirteen residents were left homeless and were taken to a nearby shelter.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
