But she ended up a double amputee; she lost her legs and is now suing the hospital.

So many of the things most take for granted she now has a difficult time accomplishing.
It is the result, she and her attorney's say of a botched surgery last year at Long Island's Winthrop Hospital.
They say what was a routine procedure turned into a nightmare with doctors first amputating her ankles and finally taken both of her legs below her knees.
Now the 30-year-old Brooklyn mother is suing the hospital.
Her case is now working its way through the legal system.
