Among those charged is the 90-year-old head of Harrison's Meals On Wheels program, Florence D'Imperio, who was once honored as the town's citizen of the year.
She and five others, including her son, are accused of stealing clothes and food from the food pantry.
All are charged with petty larceny and each has been suspended without pay.
