Police say the shooting happened inside the /*Bronx Recreational Center*/ on 1527 Jessup Ave in the /*High Bridge*/ section.
Derick Cochran, 37, of the Bronx, was shot once in the neck and taken to /*Bronx Lebanon Hospital*/, where he died.
Police say a group of men walked into the center, got into an argument with Cochran, and then someone shot him in the neck.
Cochran was playing basketball at the time.
Several people were taken into custody at the scene and are being questioned by police at this time.
So far, there are no arrests.
