The "Miracle on the Hudson" plane is getting another look before making a final journey south.

The US Airways jet - which pilot Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger skillfully landed on the Hudson River in 2009, is heading to North Carolina.

The plane has been stored at a warehouse outside of Newark, New Jersey for the last two years.

The wings of the plane, which are detached, will be moved first and the fuselage will be moved sometime in the next two weeks.

It will be on permanent display at an aviation museum in North Carolina.
