Police say the suspect, shown in the center in the photo above, approached the 25-year-old victim near 8th Avenue at 2:30 Friday morning and attempted to engage her in conversation.
Police say he then threw her to the ground, sat on her and attempted to rape her.
The victim was able to fight the man off and run away.
The suspect is described as a 300 lbs, 6'5" man with a bald head.
He was last seen wearing orange pants and shirt and white foot wear.
