Five-month-old Sonanlsamo Dorjee was discovered in critical condition in her home on Green Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
She was rushed to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and then transferred to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead Wednesday.
Detectives did not see signs of trauma on the girl's body, but doctors at Wyckoff told detectives they detected bleeding on infant's brain that was possibly the result of assault.
The girl's father was questioned, but no charges were filed, pending autopsy results.
