Study shows family time reduces drug use in teens

A new report is stressing the importance of family time in preventing teen drug use.

Researchers at Columbia University found teenagers are more likely to use tobacco, alcohol and marijuana if their family does not have meals together.

These teens are almost four times more likely to say they expect to try drugs.

More than 1,000 teens were surveyed.
