Charges dropped against Brooklyn groping suspect

BROOKLYN

The victim has told police she is not sure if Flecha is the man who attacked her. She is also no longer cooperating with police, officials said.

Police say /*Joshua Flecha*/, of Queens, was picked up at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday in /*Windsor Terrace*/. Officers patrolling the /*Brooklyn*/ neighborhood had spotted Flecha twice, and they say it appeared he might be trying to break into parked cars.

The officers who stopped Flecha say his pants were unzipped, and he was watching a porn movie on his cell phone. They say Flecha, a bartender at Heartland Brewery in Midtown /*Manhattan*/, was also carrying pot.

He was picked out of a lineup by a 37-year-old woman. A man had grabbed her breasts and exposed himself on May 7 at the Seventh Avenue F train station.

Other victims did not recognize Flecha, police said, and by Wednesday afternoon, the woman also said she was uncertain that he was the right man.

Police are investigating at least 20 attacks since March. Most victims were groped, but one was raped by a man armed with a box cutter.

Flecha is still charged with marijuana possession.
