String of iPhone robberies on Upper East Side

NEW YORK

The first robbery happened on Thursday November 24th at 10 p.m. on Madison Avenue at 70th Street.

The suspect, armed with a handgun, approached a 47-year-old woman and demanded her iPhone.

Just days later, on Saturday November 26th at 7:10 p.m. at 930 Madison Avenue, the suspect demanded a 36-year-old man handover his iPhone at gunpoint.

The following Saturday, on December 3rd at 12:05 a.m. at 154 East 70th Street, a 22-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint for her iPhone.

There were no injuries in any of the incidents. A second suspect was also noticed on the scenes of the crimes acting as a lookout.

The robbery suspect is described as a Hispanic man approximately 20 years old, 5'10" tall and 170 lbs.

The lookout suspect is described as a Hispanic male teenager, approximately 17 years old and 5'7" tall.
