Churches, synagogue targeted by vandals

Police in the Bronx are investigating attacks on houses of worship over the past few weeks.

The suspects in this case targeted a synagogue and two churches.

On December 29th, Our Lady Of Assumption church had its school principal's office ransacked and burglarized.

On January 7th, The Greek-American Institute on Bruckner Boulevard was burglarized.

On January 13th, Temple Beth-El of City Island was ransacked, and its silver torah crowns and kiddish cups were all stolen.

Police are trying to determine if the crimes are all related, since they are similar in nature and in close proximity to each other.
