Downtown service on the 4, 5 and 6 trains was suspended between 125th Street and the Brooklyn Bridge due to switch problems Tuesday morning.

Service resumed with delays just after 9:30 a.m. Some downtown 5 trains are running on the 2 line from the 149 Street-Grand Concourse Station to the Nevins Street Station.

Expect extensive delays in both directions.

The MTA says the problems originate at the 14 Street station.
