Arrest in knife attack on cab driver at JFK Airport

Police have made an arrest in the slashing of a cab driver after a fight in a parking garage at JFK Airport.

Police arrested 50-year old Guang Zheng near his home at 61st Road in Flushing, Queens.

He's accused of slashing 49-year old Ibrahim Mohammed with a knife over the left eye. A source tells Eyewitness News the two gypsy cab drivers were fighting in the garage at Terminal 8.

Mohammed is in serious condition at Jamaica Medical Center.

Police say Zheng drove off in a bronze colored Acura. He has been charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
