The Health Source Pharmacy has been in business for ten years and there was never a robbery until two years ago after barricades were built as part of construction for the Second Avenue subway.
But in December 2011, the robber came in, with a gun drawn, and demanded narcotics including Oxycodone.
A second robbery, with apparently the same robber happened last summer, also at gunpoint. The gunman added the drug Cialis and Viagra.
The last robbery happened this past Saturday. Three separate pharmacists were the victims. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
The pharmacy owner is convinced the robberies have a lot to do with this storage area for construction equipment and the covered fence protecting that equipment.
